About the Half Marathon Swim 18000: The first of our ultra endurance swim distances, our 18km Half Marathon Swim will take swimmers across Christina Lake in a single effort. This swim is intended for experienced and elite swimmers looking for a big open water and endurance challenge with the support of kayakers, crew, and safety personnel.
When: Saturday August 20, 2022. Swimmers will depart from the beach at 4:00am. Pre-swim registration will open 3:30 am with arrival no later than 3:45am. All swimmers have 14 hours / until 6pm PST to complete the course.

Christina Lake can be accessed via Hwy 3 from Osoyoos & Castlegar, Hwy 395 from Kettle Falls, WA, as well as other roads from Kelowna and the Okanagan area. It is about a 3 ½ hour drive from Kelowna, B.C., a 6 hour drive from Vancouver, B.C., a 7 ½ hour drive from Calgary, A.B., and a 2 hour drive from Spokane, WA.
